Mission:
The North Division – Marconi Service Center, located at 2500 Marconi Ave Ste 100 is supported with dedicated volunteers and is supervised by an Office Manager.  The Service Center is open Monday through Friday 08:00am to 5:00pm excluding holidays. The Service Center handles reports of crimes not in progress or of a non-violent nature(volunteers will stop taking reports at 4:30pm), public safety education and tips to help prevent crimes.

The Crime Prevention Specialist may assist citizens in establishing a Neighborhood Watch Program. Neighborhood Watch may be established for both single family residential areas and multi-unit residential complexes. Our Crime Prevention Specialist may also assist businesses in establishing a Business Watch commercial business districts. Our Crime Prevention Specialist is also available to make presentations to community groups and schools within our division.

The Crime Prevention Specialist also reviews and makes recommendations along with the Sacramento County Planning Review Committee for Conditional Use Permits and Access Control Gates.  The Specialist also works with the Alcoholic Beverage Control and makes recommendations on conditions or restrictions of permanent alcohol licenses for retail outlets, restaurants, bars and night clubs.  These permits and licenses are further reviewed by Community Planning Councils and the Board of Supervisors.
